An explanation of our three strategy considerations

Everything must be related to your strategy…
Every company requires a predefined target to allow measuring a “hit-rate”. If there’s no strategy set out, tFotohen there will also be no deviations from it. If there are no deviations, there are no corrective measures. Without corrective measures, who knows where you’ll end up? Therefore, every path that you and NextStep will follow together must always be according to your strategy. If it isn’t then there are two possibilities: either the strategy is due for a revision, or we are both wasting our time by pursuing sidetracks.

One achievable enhancement at a time…
Since NextStep is not into the fortune telling business, we will always focus on the situation that your company, department or team is currently in. How does that situation relate to the strategy? How did you ever get into that situation? And then finally the important one: How are you going to get out of it?

Utilize current practical possibilities…
You’re not alone in your situation: you also have colleagues, processes, procedures, agreements, practices, and systems. These things were all determined by decisions in the past. In your attempt to get out of the situation there’s two approaches: you can take the large full scale approach by creating one plan to “correct” all these area’s, or you can enhance efficiencies by smartly selecting those things which will result in bottom-line results within the time-frame that we can oversee.

What will you choose: a big bet with a vague scope with results in a couple of years from now? or will you settle for a sure bet with results within this year. What will be your NextStep?
